Angel Coronado has joyfully served as the Youth and Young Adult Director at Community Church. He was born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Angel has spent over seven years serving in youth ministry across both inner-city and rural communities.

 

Angel loves being in community—whether that’s kayaking, hammocking, playing games, or spending quality time with friends and family. Most of all, he loves adventuring through life with his amazing wife, Maddie. Angel and Maddie met at Moody Bible Institute and were married in June of 2023. They first moved to Maddie’s hometown of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, before God led them to serve at Community Church.

 

Angel graduated from Moody Bible Institute (B.A. in Bible and Youth Ministry, 2023) and earned a Master Certificate in Ministry Care from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (2025). He is also certified in Adult Mental Health First Aid. His passion is to create Christ-centered communities, invest in the next generation, and walk with people as they grow in authentic faith.
