Kyle was born in northern Minnesota and grew up in Green Bay where he began to play drums at age ten and picked up a few other instruments during his teen years. After depriving his parents of peace and quiet for nearly a decade, he went off to college in Memphis where he studied worship, theology, and a whole lot of music. Kyle graduated from Visible Music College in Memphis, Tennessee with a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Music on Drum Set in 2010, after which he remained in Memphis for a few more years, teaching and playing music and being poor.

 

God called him back to Wisconsin and into worship ministry in 2013. In 2021, God led Kyle to Community Church. Kyle has a passion for worshiping the Lord through music, and he loves to see his Community Church family beholding and savoring Jesus through corporate worship. He desires to lead God’s people in worship that is Bible-saturated, Gospel-centered, and Christ-exalting. In his spare time, he enjoys talking about and playing music of all kinds, hiking and biking the trails of the Fond du Lac area, and watching sports.
