Join us this Sunday for our Worship Celebration Service at either 9 or 10:45 a.m.
Haiti Orphanage Secure
For the last few years, Community Church has been partnering with Hold the Children and Mission Discovery in efforts to build an orphanage and provide schools to Haitian children. Our efforts have been focused mainly in the northern areas of the island that have been spared serious damage. Since the devastating earthquake, we’ve received word from Pastor Exante and Pastor Bazile that the Hold the Children orphanage and schools remain secure. It is likely that damage has been minimal to the outlying areas where many of the school children live.
While Hold the Children and Mission Discovery are not first response organizations and do not have the resources to immediately deploy services, they will likely be involved in rebuilding efforts in Haiti for a long time.
Send Help to Haiti If you are interested in donating to first-response organizations, there are many already in Haiti that you can support. Be careful to select a trustworthy organization, because many scams have already popped up. Below are just a few of the many trustworthy first-response organizations.

Community Church Information
Founded in 1980, Community Church has experienced steady growth for over two decades. Through the whole of our history we have focused on four strategic purposes that we see woven through the pages of the New Testament. We aim to worship Christ (celebration), to bear witness to Christ (communication), to grow up in Christ (cultivation), and to love others in Christ's name (care). God has graced Community Church with His presence and His blessing, and there is lots of dynamic vitality as a result.
Our two weekend worship celebration services, student and children's ministries, our adult ministries, and other ministries are all related to our vision of "helping more people become wholehearted followers of Jesus Christ." Our life together and our shared ministry are ultimately all about Jesus. He is the treasure around here.
There are many opportunities for ministry at Community Church. If you are interested in ways you can serve, please click on Volunteer Job Descriptions (in the left-side menu) for these opportunities.
Please visit us at Community Church. You may discover that there is something wonderfully dynamic about what God is graciously doing in and through this fellowship.
