Amanda has lived in Fond du Lac all of her life. Her parents started attending Community Church in 1980, so from childhood into her young adult years, Amanda was discipled by the faith-filled people at Community.
After meeting her husband Jason in a Bible study, they transitioned to Jason's home church where they served in youth, missions, and children's ministry for many years. They felt God call them back to Community during the COVID pandemic, and Amanda eventually took on the role of Children's Ministry Director in June 2021.
Amanda earned her degree in Public and Professional Communication from Marian University in 2009. In 2013, Amanda went back to Marian to complete her Masters in Education (2019) and has been teaching a variety of ages and classes for many years. She is a Wisconsin state certified educator and loves to learn and explain new things -- especially when it is rooted in God's Word!
Both Amanda and Jason have a passion for seeing the next generation understand and live out the Gospel, and they are blessed to have an opportunity to serve the church together. Their family of six, including two sons and two daughters, strive to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus through every season life brings.
One of Amanda's favorite verses is from Ephesians 3:20-21: "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."
