Going Deeper Questions
In your own words, why should we follow the Son of God?
In 1 Cor. 11:1 the Apostle Paul says, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” (NIV) Why do you think Paul says this to the church in Corinth?
Read John 8:12. What does Jesus say? Why is it necessary to follow him? What does it
look like to walk in the light according to Ephesians 5:8-14? How will you apply this
today?
Isaiah says that “we all went astray like sheep” (Isaiah 53:6). Where do you see
yourself most vulnerable to wandering from God—through culture, friendships, media,
personal desires, or fear of others’ opinions? How will you better listen for the voice of
the Good Shepherd? Read John 10:11–16, 27
The disciples left their nets, tax booth, and old ambitions to follow Jesus (see
